Pepsi Superbowl Commercial DUE Mon., Feb. 11, 2008
Pepsi created a commercial for the Superbowl (Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008). This commercial, called, "Bob's House", was based on an old joke known by deaf people. Also, discuss this - the Alexander Graham Bell Association (supports oralism), sent a letter of complaint to Pepsi, saying that the commercial gives the false assumption that all deaf people use ASL. What is your opinion of this? Give your opinion of other's comments, too.

My opinion of the "Pepsi Superbowl Commercial is very, very, very, very great becasue I never see that commercial for deaf people their hand and joke on the T.V. I want more commercial for deaf culture commercial because I want deaf people can do that for commercial. I want join there! I not care a person against deaf cmmercial. I saw many commercial no deaf people there. Finally, I saw deaf people there for commercial.

Yes, I like it. Because I never see deaf people in commercial. And I surpise that deaf people in commercial. I hate to see commercial without closed caption but very few or once closed caption in commercial on t.v. Because hearing people don’t want to pay to closed caption in commerical on t.v. Most deaf people always wish that deaf people should be in commercial or movie on t.v. Now, it’s happen. I like deaf in commerical to make hearing people to wake-up that deaf people really can do it. But only they can’t hear that’s all. Most hearing people think, deaf people are dumb or half retard or not natural like hearing people or can’t do everything because they never hear about deaf people could do everything like hearing people. But some or few hearing people know that deaf people like hearing people because they have deaf friends or family or workers. If commercial or movie are a lot deaf people or sign language every time, it make hearing people to interest or curise to learn sign language. Then they are possibable to want to talk or help deaf people in the world. I hope, Deaf people and sign language will be in commercial on t.v. everyday.
I really like to watching deaf commercial on the T.V.!Because i notice the commercial have none closed caption for deaf people but some do and it only have hearing people in the commercial not only deaf. Finally before Super Bowl game start like 3 hours later it's deaf commercial!It's make me soo happy.But why not in the world have Deaf commercial! Why not! I hope that Hearing people will interest in ASL while they watching the deaf commercial on the T.V. I am agree with Carla's commet. They should have a deaf movie for deaf people. But why not Hearing People to hiring alot deaf people to become a movie actors/actress in Hollywood,CA!? I wish that i could make my own Deaf Commercial. =-)
I like that idea of Pepsi Superbowl commercial because most commercial always taken by hearing not deaf, I think it not fair to deaf to not understand what deaf saying. I would like to see deaf commercial company to develop to work a commercial. It would be wonderful to have it there in the television and make all world to watch news, sport, etc that all are deaf people it would be wonderful to have it.
I agree with all my classmate. Because I never see before in deaf commercial on television. I think that great! Because I want see more deaf commercial. If deaf commercial on television then put on the closed caption because hearing people watch on television for deaf commercial. I like it. Most commercial about help peoples and everything only hearing peoples but nope deaf commercial! But it is my first time I saw deaf commercial from you tube; this blog. If deaf/hearing peoples same time at many commercial on television. That will be great and cool!
Pepsi superbowl commercial is very cool, because everybody needs a deaf commercial so they can understand.Most deaf people need that too. So hearing people should be fair too. I never saw a deaf commercial before its was pretty cool. I hope there are more deaf commercials in the future. I know there are alot of deaf people that were happy when they saw first deaf commercial, because its a very funny commercial. I hope there are more hearing people that show respect for the deaf people too.
Actually, my opinion is Pespi Superbowl Commercial is amazing in serious case! I m glad that, I saw that television in Deaf Commercial in BOB HOUSE. I really love it already... And I guarttee that Many Deafs people did watch that Deafs Commercial.. Since I noticed that, Deafs people sick of that watching in hearing Commercial.. It all is not worth, I want to see Deafs people want to watch in Deaf Commercial? But they did it.. it all finally. That what i saw it in television in Deaf Commercial. Please keep it up with deaf commercial in serious case..
